Mumbrella’s 2019 Sports Agency of the Year is built on the foundation of twenty five years of working with leading Australian brands to maximise their return from sports sponsorship investment.

In 2019 we took on rights ownership with the 100% acquisition of the Sydney Kings. We have had an incredibly successful few seasons on and off the court which saw us drive the biggest NBL crowd ever with 17,500 people at Qudos Bank Arena in 2019. We also recently acquired the Sydney Uni Flames and are committed to growing the sport of basketball across both men and womens.

In addition to our owned sports organsations, we work with different sport and entertainment clients on all types of projects and briefs.


We’re on the hunt for a Social Media Strategist to work across a range of new and existing clients.

The Social Strategist would report directly to the Head of Marketing and CEO. This person would be competent in developing strategies, content ideation, planning, managing and optimizing paid campaigns, and working with the creative team to develop content ideas. 

TSE has responsibility for driving sales across a number of different clients including event ticket sales. This role will have a heavy focus on driving conversions through paid social and managing budgets effectively to deliver volume and efficient ROAS.

The candidate will have the ability to distill a brief, prepare a strategy, run creative brainstorming sessions with the content team and deliver a strong response to the brief. 

Ideally the candidate has 3+ years of back end experience running paid campaigns and an understanding of Facebook Ads Manager. The candidate will have experience in developing a range of different strategies including retention, growth, direct response and conversion.


  • ​​Create and implement high level paid social strategies
  • Manage and optimise small-large scale social media ads campaigns across multiple clients with multiple objectives
  • Implementation of paid social campaigns to achieve a range of objectives
  • Setup, Monitor and optimise paid social ads in order to improve results on campaigns in a dynamic fashion
  • Ongoing social optimisation, analysing data and reporting on insights to make informed decisions leading to increased performance
  • Ownership of all paid social strategy and ensuring approved plans are executed within the campaign timeline
  • Work directly with TSE clients to deliver on paid social expectations
  • Managing paid social budgets and providing clients with spend recommendations and projected results
  • Adjusting campaign spend based off performance
  • Review, analyse and arrange data to present to client to showcase effectiveness and outcomes of paid social campaigns
  • Identify content opportunities and provide design studio with briefs to execute
  • Launch, manage and optimise organic social channels when needed
  • Create and implement organic social strategies


  • We are a small but experienced team with strong leadership. The CEO has direct involvement in marketing.
  • The day to day is managed by the head of marketing and will work closely with you across all projects where required.
